Nikolcho is a seasoned cybersecurity expert with over 20 years of experience in the field. Throughout his career, he has led and contributed to major security projects for global financial institutions such as Deutsche Bank, insurance companies including Swiss Life, Allianz, and Zurich Insurance, as well as telecommunications giants like Hutchinson 3G, Fastweb, and Vodafone.
Holding a master’s degree in Information Security Management and an MBA, Nikolcho combines deep technical expertise with strategic business insight. He is a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and holds multiple prestigious certifications, including Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO) (x2), GIAC Security Strategy (GSTRT), ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor, and ISO/IEC 27032 Senior Lead Cybersecurity Manager.
Driven by a passion for making cybersecurity accessible to all, he wrote Cybersecurity Simplified—a book designed to break down complex cybersecurity concepts into easy-to-understand explanations. The book serves as a valuable resource for beginners, professionals looking to reinforce their knowledge, and those preparing for cybersecurity certifications.
