Matija Veric – Cybersecurity Expert
Matija is a cybersecurity expert and a certified NIS2 trainer, with over two decades of experience in designing and delivering information security solutions across Southeast and Central Europe. For nearly 15 years, he has been running his own company in Croatia, MIT poslovni procesi, focused on cybersecurity consulting, implementation of security technologies, and education.
In addition to leading MIT, Matija currently serves as Regional Manager and Product Manager for Fortra’s cybersecurity solutions at NSS, where he is responsible for promoting and supporting advanced security technologies across the region. He previously held key regional roles at Printec Group of Companies, where he managed cybersecurity initiatives across 17 countries, and worked for global vendors such as Websense and Accenture on security-related projects. His expertise includes threat prevention, ethical hacking, data classification and protection, and privileged access management.
Matija holds a master’s degree in information science and is known for his ability to solve complex security challenges, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a culture of cyber resilience. He brings a deep understanding of both technical and strategic aspects of cybersecurity.
